Flesh Notes is a group exhibition showcasing works by RMIT MFA students and alumni, exploring the body as a site of memory, identity, and experimentation. Through painting, sculpture, installation, video, and sound, the exhibition examines how personal and collective narratives are embodied, constructed, and contested. The works move between the intimate and the monumental, reflecting on vulnerability, resilience, and cultural symbolism within contemporary life. By bringing diverse practices together, Flesh Notes creates a layered dialogue between material, form, and experience, inviting audiences to reconsider how bodies inhabit space, carry histories, and generate meaning.
